Emplotment
Emplotment is a web application for generating, viewing, and editing narrative graphs — currently focused on historical narratives.
Users enter a historical topic, choose a historiographical lens and narrative framing, and the app builds an interactive graph of events, people, institutions, forces, and artifacts. Generation is grounded in research: claims cite real sources (URLs or DOIs), and a verification pass corroborates or flags contested claims rather than silently dropping them. Public emplotments can be browsed without signing in, while saved editing, sharing, branching, credits, and premium media features depend on account status.

The full interactive graph editor requires JavaScript. This static summary is included so search engines, LLMs, and other agents can identify what the site does without executing the client app; see also /llms.txt.
